Options

You can define a number of options for each SQL Server. The options are used throughout SQL Backup for that SQL Server. For example, you can specify the default folder for backup files and define the settings to be used for email notification.

In SQL Server, select the SQL Server instance for which you want to define the settings, then enter the details in each tab as required:

in File Management, specify options for backup file locations, log file locations, and SQL Server backup history
in Email Settings, enter your details for email notification (not available for SQL Backup Lite)

Click Apply to set the options defined on both tabs for the selected SQL Server. You can then select another SQL Server for which to set options. When you have finished, click OK to set the options and close the dialog box.
