Choosing the Application Type

Choosing the Profiler Type > Choosing the Application Type > Specifying the Application Details > Choosing the Methods to Profile

The Choose what to profile page of the Profiler Project Wizard enables you to choose the type of application to profile.

Select one of the following options:

.NET desktop application
ASP.NET web application hosted in IIS
ASP.NET web application hosted in the ASP.NET development web server
This option is not available if the ASP.NET Development Server is not installed on your computer.
.NET Windows service
COM+ server application

Click Next.
