Choosing the Profiler Type

The Profiler Project Wizard enables you to specify the type of profile that you want to run (performance or memory) and the details of the application that you want to profile.

To open the Profiler Project Wizard, click

Select:

Performance profiler - Detailed Mode to measure the execution time of methods and the lines of code within those methods
Performance profiler - Fast Mode to measure only the execution time of methods
This option is available only in the Pro edition of ANTS Profiler.
Memory profiler to measure the memory that is allocated to objects and classes
This option is available only in the Pro edition of ANTS Profiler.

Click Next.
