The All methods panel displays a list of all the methods that were profiled in the application.

To display the source code for a method (when there is a source file), click the method; the source code is displayed in the Source code panel.

You can step backwards  or forwards  through methods that you have previously viewed, or you can click the arrow button to select a method; ANTS Profiler shows the source code for the selected method.

The following information is shown for each method:

* These columns are not displayed by default; see Customizing the columns.

You can view time values as processor clock ticks as well as seconds; for example, select the Average time (ticks) column.

Customizing the columns

Right-click a column header, then click Choose columns; ANTS Profiler displays the Choose columns dialog box for you to add or remove columns.

To add a column, drag the column from the Choose columns dialog box to the required column header position in the grid; to remove a column, drag the column from the grid to the Choose columns dialog box.

Sorting the columns

To change the order in which the methods are listed, click the appropriate column header. To sort by multiple columns, for example, to order the method names within hit count, click the Hit count column header, then press SHIFT and click the Method name column header.

Rearranging the order of the columns

To move a column, drag the column header to the required position.

Grouping columns

To group methods by a particular column, drag the column header to the shaded grouping bar at the top of the panel. To group methods into hierarchies, for example to group by source files within namespace, drag the Namespace column header to the shaded grouping bar, and then the Source files column header:

To clear the groupings, drag the column headers from the shaded grouping bar to the grid; to clear all the groupings, right-click the shaded grouping bar, then click Clear Grouping.

Filtering columns

To filter by a particular column value, move the mouse pointer over the right side of the column header, click the filter icon, then select the value from the list:
